Hillsboro Boy’s Varsity Tennis Takes Season Opener Over Century 7-1

The Spartan Boys Varsity Tennis team took the win in its season opener against neighbors Century. A great day for tennis was followed by some fantastic tennis from both returning and new members of the tennis team. Wins came from Singles #1,2, & 3 and all Doubles matches! Our newer teams at #3 & 4

Hillsboro wrestling’s season concluded Friday and Saturday at the Memorial Coliseum in Portland. The Spartans fell a little short of their goals, but ended their season on high notes. The NWOC championship made its way home to Sparta on a snowy Friday night in Scappoose.  Hillsboro dominated the district championship weekend that was condensed to one day due to weather concerns.  The champion Spartans scored 341.5 team points to out distance second place Milwaukie’s 288.5 and ruin the Mustangs hope of defending their 2018

Last Stop Before Districts

Hillsboro travelled to Clackamas for their final regular season tune up before the post season begins.  The Spartans entered sixteen into the two day Bill Geister Tournament and came away with six medals.  Leading the way for Hillsboro were two gold medalists, 138 Cole Siemon and 160 Nick Peterson.
