Multiple Teams · Rainy Conditions for Softball Tuesday

The Spartans softball teams battled the rain and cold Tuesday to compete at home against the Milwaukie Mustangs. The teams split with varsity winning 8-2 and JV falling to the Mustangs 6-15.

The junior varsity struggled defensively in the rain and muddy conditions and look to bounce back with tough defense in their next league game. Offensively the Spartans had 7 hits, highlighted by Mary Hendrix (2 for 2) and Hunter Wilson (3B). The Junior Varsity team is now 2-2 in league play and compete again today @ Parkrose (5 PM).

The varsity team handed the Mustangs their 4th loss in the NWOC on Tuesday. Currently, the Spartans are 3-1 in league and 8-6 overall. The varsity also plays today @ Parkrose (5 PM).
