The Spartans partook in the annual Northwest Duals in Albany for two days.  They finished with a 5-4 record after stumbling out of the gate.  Day one matches included losses to Sweet Home 54-16, Redmond 53-19, Newberg 36-33, and Squalicum, WA 45-36.  Hillsboro pulled out a win against Sunset 51-24.  Day two the fortunes changed as the Spartans won all four duals over Junction City 40-30, Centennial 42-36, Central 46-36, and McMinnville 39-30.  throughout the tournament the Spartans started in a 0-18 hole having to forfeit three weights (106,113, and 182).  They were also missing starters Nick Peterson for three duals, Cole Siemon for three duals and Chris Day for all nine duals.  Through all that adversity, they still managed a winning record.  Five Sparts went undefeated over the two days Tristin Keffer 9-0, Trevor Schubmehl 7-0, Cole Siemon 6-0, Nick Peterson 6-0, and Brandon Schubmehl 4-0.  Cole Siemon had a personal highlight against Squalicum winning his 100th career match.  Siemon became only the 16th Spartan in history to notch 100 victories.  Individual weekend records:
