Girls Varsity Tennis Falls to Liberty 9-0

Hilhi Girls Tennis (0-4, 0-0) lost to Liberty on Tuesday 3/20/18. We had a few close individual sets and almost comebacks but Liberty was able to win a good majority of the deuce points and won in convincing fashion. Hilhi needs to fight through this slump and get ready to battle in the next match.

Hillsboro Boys Varsity Tennis Takes Win Over Liberty 6-2

Another day, another victory for the Hillsboro Boys Varsity Tennis team this time against Liberty. The Spartans took a decisive sweep in doubles winning each match. Three matches ended in the same 6-2, 6-1 scoreline for the Spartans; #1 doubles Cole Siemon (Jr) and Brandon Schubmehl (Jr), #3 Horace Leake (Jr) and Willy Deleon (Jr),

Hillsboro Boys Varsity Tennis Nets First Victory 6-2 Over Aloha

The Hillsboro Boys Varsity Tennis team nets it first win of the season against Aloha 6-2. The Spartans won 3 out of the 4 singles and 3 out of the 4 doubles as well. Two matches went into three sets with #1 Doubles Brandon Schubmehl (Jr) and Cole Siemon (Jr) pulling through 7-5, 3-6, 6-2.

Hillsboro High School Varsity Boys Tennis falls to Lakeridge 8-0 in Pre-Season Opener

The Hillsboro Boys Varsity Tennis team started their season with a tough opponent in Lakeridge at home. This was a good first test for the Spartan tennis team as both new and returning players got a chance to play some good tennis. The next match for the Spartans is another pre-season match against Aloha rescheduled for March 19th. GO

Dear Parents and Athletes we are aware of the technical issues with the VNN Alerts and the tech crew with VNN are working to correct the issue but it could take some time. I have communicated with the coaches and suggested to them that they start a text group to send out changes to schedules.
