Rockin’ (Round) Robin

The Spartans opened up the full season on Friday with the Ron James Round Robin. Sam Barlow, Scappoose, and Century joined the Spartans for the series of dual meets. Seniors visit Middle School

Next Thursday, December 15th, 2016; the Seniors on the Boys Lacrosse team will be visiting South Meadows Middle School during lunch while also building an interest in students to play lacrosse.

Canned Food for Admission

Tuesday 12/6, Friday 12/9 and Sat. 12/10 we will take canned food for admission into Basketball games. 7 cans for Adult and 5 cans for students. Join us for Basketball and help drive out hunger!

The class of 2020 made their high school wrestling debut on Wednesday at Century High School. It was the first contact for all of the schools in attendance. Hillsboro MaKenna Gambee Signs Letter of Intent

Hillsboro Makenna Gambee Signs Letter of Intent to receive a scholarship to play basketball at Hawaii Pacific University.  Makenna is a 3-sport athlete and will have received 12 varsity letters upon graduation from Hillsboro High School.  We are looking forward to watching Makenna finish out her career in basketball and golf this year!  Congratulations again

Coach of the Year and Player of the Year

Caitlyn Steele was named Volleyball Coach of the Year for the 5A NWOC and Makenna Gambee was named Volleyball Player of the Year for the 5A NWOC. So proud of both of them! GO SPARTS! Picture to come 🙂

Spartan XC Runner Qualifies for State

Last week the Hilhi Spartan Cross Country team ran it’s final race of the season competing in the NWOC District Finals.  In the process we had one runner, Alana Baldwin Joiner, finish 6th and qualify for the State Cross Country Meet that will be held this coming Saturday at Lane Community College.  Way to go

The Broncos made it a tough match but ultimately two goals by Bryan Tapia Silva and one by Eric Hernandez were enough
